Martin Newman backs driverless delivery vehicle venture Kar-go
Martin Newman, founder of The Customer First Group and former Practicology boss, has made an undisclosed investment in UK-based autonomous delivery startup Kar-go.
“We can all do our bit to save the planet. This is why I’m delighted to invest in Kar-go. It’s a fantastic customer-centric experience which puts the customer in control of their delivery,” Newman says in a LinkedIn post.
Kar-go is the brainchild of William Sachiti and the Academy of Robotics and currently has an investment round open. It says that, via a combination of robotics and driverless vehicle technology, it can remove up to 90% of the cost associated with the last mile of delivery. Further info on that here.
